The Greyhound Trust (formerly The Retired Greyhound Trust) was founded in 1975 and is responsible for finding homes for 4000 retired racing greyhounds and helping hundreds more.
The East Midlands Branch at Crossing Cottage Kennels is one of the busiest branches in the trust. They wanted an attractive site that displayed the available greyhounds with a profile, as well as advice on looking after and adopting the greyhounds, and publicising events held by the branch and their supporters.
We created a unique site for the branch to help it publicise the available dogs to the East Midlands region. The site has a page with dogs looking for a new home, with each dog having it’s own unique page.
There is a page dedicated to the various events the branch is involved with, a page to display the kind sponsors of the branch, as well as integration with social media which is automatically updated with news and of course the dogs.
Complete web management
JMHDigital works with the branch to upload the available dogs, and we will be working on the rebranding of the site from The Retired Greyhound Trust to The Greyhound Trust in the coming weeks. This will include a new web address and as well as updating the branding on the site and social media in line with the Trust’s new guidelines.
We have also advised on hosting, and cost effective marketing activities to improve traffic to the site, and boost interactions with potential homes.
